Try Git in the browser, by Codeschool and Github

I’m a pretty serious fan of git for version control. While there’s a lot of tutorial resources and interactive learning projects out there, this one does a really great job of introducing Github as your remote repo. If you’re still on the fence, or haven’t given Github a try for remote hosting, this is definately worth your time.
